Mortuary man

There was drama at Tema Community 9 when a mortuary man in the company of a colleague stormed the cemetery to retrieve their forty cedis the family of the deceased failed to pay before taking their body from the mortuary.

Reports on social media indicates that the family failed to pay in full the amount they were charged and sneaked away with the corpse when the mortary man was working on another corpse.

He sensing he had no way to retrieve the rest of his money went to the cemetery where the deceased was been buried, forcefully opened that casket in an attempt to carry away the body back to the mortuary until the family come to pay the rest of the money.

However, the situation was saved by sympathizers and some family members who came in to pay the forty cedis debt before the body was released and finally buried.
