Gospel Musician, Patience Nyarko, has said she intends to produce some of her songs in English in order for her to be able to capture the international market with her art which is currently receiving massive support in Ghana.

The ‘Wa Fom Kwan’ hitmaker just came back from the United Kingdom after receiving a nomination for an award at the Ghana Gospel UK Awards. While in London, Patience performed at several events and churches. She received massive love from Ghanaians and non- Ghanaians in the United Kingdom.

But speaking to A1Radio’s Kofi Asante on the station’s mid-morning show, Patience noted that although she received massive support during her stay in London, she realized that some of the people especially those in strictly English speaking churches needed to understand the content of her songs.

Although acknowledging the fact that language should not be a barrier, she mentioned that currently, her management is working on blending the local language with the English language to give her an international appeal adding that her next album may see something of the sort.

“The response to my songs especially wa fom kwan was very uplifting and encouraging. Even in the churches that were strictly English, you could see from the Ghanaians there that they love the song and although others didn’t understand, they were also dancing to it. My manager has thought about this and we intend to blend the English with the twi. You know if you want to have an international appeal, then you have to put your international audience in mind do things they also want.”
