Alan Kyerematen’s senior advisor, Nana Ohene Ntow, has emphasized the leader’s dedication to empowering youth and women in his political agenda.
Ntow pointed out that approximately 70% of Ghana’s voters are between 18 and 45 years old, many of whom are not deeply rooted in the historical political traditions of the country.
He highlighted Kyerematen’s focus on creating opportunities for jobs, especially for young people who have graduated from universities and technical training institutions without securing employment. Ntow also compared Kyerematen’s policies to those of past Ghanaian leaders, noting that while former President Kufuor prioritized micro-economic stability and President Akufo-Addo focused on initiatives like free senior high school education and ‘Planting for Food and Jobs,’ Kyerematen aims to bring about a radical change in the country’s economy.
Ntow expressed his expectation for a transformational shift in the economy under Kyerematen’s leadership, emphasizing the need for a revolutionary approach to address the challenges facing Ghana. He believes that Kyerematen’s vision for the economy sets him apart from previous administrations and holds the potential to create significant change.
This focus on innovation and transformation in economic policy reflects Kyerematen’s commitment to driving progress and prosperity for all Ghanaians, particularly the youth and women who stand to benefit from his visionary leadership.
