Emily Rose Eavis is co-organizer of the annual Glastonbury Festival. She is the youngest daughter of the festival’s founder and organizer Michael Eavis and his second wife Jean. She grew up on Worthy Farm, Somerset, the site of the Glastonbury Festival.
Emily was born in July 1979, her current age is 42 years. She is currently married to Nick Dewey. The two tied the knot in 2009 and are blessed with three children. Emily’s parents are Micheal Eavis and Jean Hayball.
Where did Emily Eavis go to college?
After leaving Wells Cathedral School in1997, she began a teaching degree at Goldsmiths University, London. When her mother became ill with cancer, Eavis deferred her course and returned home to care for her mother.
After her mother died in 1999, Eavis began assisting her father in running the festival and soon became a co-organizer of the event. She is now responsible for overseeing the line-up of the festival.
