Controversial US-based Ghanaian influencer Archipalago has been shamed for using the passing of Christian Atsu for clout on his social media platforms.

On Saturday, February 18, Archipalago posted a video of his reaction to Atsu’s death while trying to prove his connection for the former Chelsea and Everton football star.

In the viral video, he is seen shedding what many of his followers claimed were ‘crocodile tears’ while explaining how he is connected to Christian Atsu.

He claimed that his best friend is former Black Stars’ midfielder Mubarak Wakaso and since the former Villarreal CF is a friend of Christian Atsu, they are somewhat ‘connected’.

Twitter users called him out after making this claim.

“See some food chain story to he Dey talk for the ending kumasi fuo naaaa Chaley ..someone in funeral be dema life time achievement,” on Twitter user said.

Fellow influencer Kwadwo Sheldon, who recently beefed Palago, questioned his video, asking: “What this Dey mean?”

Meanwhile, the body of the late FC Porto and Chelsea star will arrive in Ghana on Sunday, February 19, for his funeral and burial ceremonies.
