Her initial audition went well, but things went sideways when she had to sing for Tim Burton over Skype; the five minutes felt like an hour, and Naomi was certain she would not receive the part.

She came upon a video of Chris Hemsworth discussing how, after his audition for “Thor” went badly, he made a clip and sent it to the show’s producers once more while browsing YouTube. Ogawa followed suit and was happily chosen.
