President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking at a rally in Doboro, the President expressed his unwavering confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s ability to lead the country based on their seven and a half years of working together.
In contrast, President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to reject the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Former President John Dramani Mahama, in the 2024 general elections.
He emphasized that he does not believe Mr. Mahama has what it takes to develop the country, unlike Dr. Bawumia.
Encouraging citizens to participate in the Limited Voter registration exercise, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the importance of every vote.
He warned that handing over power to someone who has been defeated twice and is discontent with his work could lead to the undoing of progress made in the country.
