Tracey, Gwendoline Philippa Christie is an actress from England.
Gwendoline is best known for her roles as Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s Game of Thrones and as First Order stormtrooper Captain Phasma in the films Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In 2019, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the former. Christie has since appeared in the fantasy series The Sandman and Wednesday on Netflix.

In a 2017 interview, Christie described her thoughts on “She’s in a movie, she’s otherworldly, and she’s definitely not in the room. I realized there might be a place for me as well.”
