Fans of modern R&B music are everywhere. The official release of SZA’s second studio album, “SOS.” This is not an exercise!
SZA’s released album, which followed her three-times platinum debut album “CTRL,” has been eagerly anticipated by fans.
SZA has previously been open and honest with her fans about the difficulties she has had in releasing music. Having said that, there have long been rumors that SZA would retire from the music industry, but in the meantime, she has produced a ton of top-charting hits to satisfy her fan base.
The idea that “SOS” would be SZA’s final album, however, has caused a social media firestorm. So SZA stopped making music? Here is a list of all we know.
Why is SZA retiring?
Let’s pause a moment to collect our thoughts! It goes without saying that SZA significantly concurred with her views on taking a break from music.
SZA discussed her worries and grief after releasing “CTRL” in an interview with Flaunt Magazine in, March 2018 that was published through Nylon Magazine.
“I’m still miserable,” SZA told the outlet. “My world got so much smaller so fast. I have so much to write about. I feel like I’m in a cage. I’m making the best album of my life for this next album and I know that … because it’s going to be my last album.”
“The US star's first album in five years – and her last ever, she says – is sprawling, superb and rarely puts a foot wrong”
