Why did they change Jennifer on Days of Our Lives?
Jennifer has been played by Reeves since 1985, although she departed the program in 2020 as a result of the COVID problem. Cady McClain, a former AMC actress who currently stars on DAYS, temporarily filled the part, but Reeves returned to the screen for Christmas 2021 to wish Jennifer fans a very merry holiday. Since then, she has intermittently surfaced.
From 1995 until 1998, Stephanie Cameron temporarily filled the position. Cady McClain then assumed the position in October 2020. Reeves took on the post again for a brief period in December when McClain left in February 2021. But McClain was playing the part when the persona returned in June 2022.
