The show was shot in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Spain. It started on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and concluded on May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes shown across eight seasons.

Why did Jaqen Ha’ghar drink poison for Arya Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’?

Because Arya is still too attached to her Stark identity, it was just a demonstration of what the Faceless Man truly is. When Jaqen H’ghar drank the poison, he died. Arya was taken aback because she had expected him to give her the poison for her own purpose.

Instead, Jaqen drank it and died, revealing that the person Arya had known as Jaqen was actually another person wearing Jaqen’s face. The real Jaqen had been posing as Waif, who had removed her mask to expose his true identity.

Why did Arya Stark go blind?

Her blindness was a punishment from Jaqen H’ghar for killing Meryn Trant, a life that Jaqen says belongs to the Many-Faced God rather than Arya.

The Faceless Men cure the faces of the deceased who come to die in their sanctuary, hanging these skins in deep vaults beneath the temple as masks to employ on assassination contracts. These, however, are more than just leather masks.

The user drinks a tart-flavored potion and their face is cut, causing blood to flow over their features; when the new face is applied, the blood moistens it, making it soft and supple.

The magic transforms the user into the actual person’s appearance, including broken teeth or other ailments. (However, they are unable to discern the difference because they are only aware of their own face and features.)
