Why did Dusty Rhodes leave WWE?

Rhodes, who had a contract with WWE from 2006 to 2016, asked for his release because he didn’t like the way they were using him. As a result, he rose to prominence outside of the firm.

One of the greatest wrestlers and speakers in the annals of professional wrestling is Rhodes. Rhodes was fired during Starrcade ’88 as a result of a forbidden on-screen bloodletting that the Turner Broadcasting System imposed during a conflict with The Road Warriors on November 26, 1988.

In response to the intrusion, Rhodes devised a story in which the Road Warrior Animal pierced his eye with a spike he ripped out of his shoulder pad. Rhodes was then fired by WCW.
