Game of Thrones is an HBO fantasy drama series developed by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire trilogy, the first of which is A Game of Thrones.

The show was shot in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Spain. It started on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and concluded on May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes shown across eight seasons.

Why did Daenerys Targaryen kill Mirri Maz Duur, and how did she kill her?

Miri Maz Duur was a healer who had been sexually molested by several Dothraki of Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) during the raid on her settlement. Naturally, Mirri Maz Duur retaliated against the warriors who pillaged her home by slaying their Khal and killing Daenerys’ unborn child.

Daenerys decided to take revenge by burning her alive in the fire that would hatch her dragon eggs and give her the ultimate weapon of mass destruction for her treason.

Daenerys Targaryen begins the series as an abused and terrified young girl, but the Targaryens are not afraid. Daenerys’ father, Mad King Aerys Targaryen, is known as a tyrant who takes great pleasure in burning people alive.

He is soon revealed to be the perpetrator of the heinous murders of Ned Stark’s father and brother.
