Larry Ray was brought into the world on September 12, 1945, in San Francisco, CA.
He began playing guitar in 1960, investing a great deal of energy simply chipping away at the mechanics of the guitar, committing a really long time of work on, paying attention to other guitar players, and attempting to sort out their licks and riffs.
In 1961 he shaped a Northern California band in San Jose called the Pharaohs, figuring out how to play with different artists and sharpening his specialty as an entertainer.
States Ray, “When you initially start to act before individuals, you’re snared. Despite the fact that we played no unique music, this is the place where I started to foster my own guitar style.
