On November 21, 1993, Cooper Robert Rush, a quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, was born. (NFL). He played collegiate football for Central Michigan before being signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2017.

Rush, who is from Charlotte, Michigan, was signed by the slightly over 500-student Lansing Catholic High School in Lansing, Michigan. He started as quarterback for the football team there for three years. He played basketball and baseball as well (until his freshman year).

He guided his club to back-to-back unbeaten seasons in 2010 and 2011. In 2011, he led his team to a state runner-up finish. In Division 5 regional championship game versus Dowagiac Union High School, he broke state records with 5 touchdown passes in one quarter and 8 total. Despite having 300 passing yards and three touchdowns, the squad was defeated in the championship game by Powers Catholic High School, 26-56.

He was named All-State, Associated Press Michigan Division 5/6 Player of the Year, and Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year by ESPN as a senior.
