Betty White, one of Hollywood’s favourite legends of our time, has passed away.

Just last week, she disclosed in what would be her last interview that her secret to long life was to avoid “anything green.”

Betty White told People reporters Liz McNeil and Dory Jackson that she avoided “anything green” as a part of her diet.

“I guess it’s working,” she said, adding that “I’m so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age. It’s amazing.”

When did Betty White pass away?

Betty White was confirmed dead on Friday, December 31, 2021. She died at the age of 99, just three weeks to her centenary birthday.

She would have celebrated her 100th birthday on January 17, 2022.
