Steven Paul Jobs was an American businessman, industrial designer, media mogul, and investor. Jobs was Apple’s co-founder, chairman, and CEO; Pixar’s chairman and majority shareholder; a member of The Walt Disney Company’s board of directors following Pixar’s acquisition; and the founder, chairman, and CEO of NeXT. Along with his early business partner and fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, he is widely regarded as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s.

Bill Gates is a philanthropist and business magnate from the United States.  Gates and his late childhood friend Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft. During his tenure at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of chairman, CEO, President, and Chief Software Architect, as well as being the company’s largest individual shareholder until May 2014. He was a key figure in the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s.

Despite their years of animosity, Gates and Jobs eventually reconciled and became good friends. Gates revealed to The Telegraph that he wrote a letter to Jobs on his deathbed. “I told Steve that he should be proud of what he had accomplished and the company he had founded. I wrote about his children, whom I had met.”
