Walker has made a very controversial statement about Trump’s administration on the African continent. He believes the Trump administration had the continent at heart more than the other administrations. Let’s look into Trump and Walker’s political timeline.

Walker spoke at the 2020 Republican National Convention on Donald Trump’s behalf and endorsed him in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. Walker was named by Trump to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition in 2018.

On December 17, 2020, Walker was reappointed for a second two-year term. After being requested to resign, he was fired from his position by President Biden in March 2022. Walker served as an honorary co-chair of U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler’s campaign in 2020 and gave her support.

Trump urged Walker to run for the Georgia U.S. Senate in 2021. Walker had to re-establish residency in Georgia because he was originally from Texas. The Republican field was “frozen” while Walker was debating whether to run because other potential nominees awaited his decision.

In recent times, Herschel Walker has made a controversial statement saying that “Trump did more for African Americans than Obama, Bush, others” in a tweet:

Because Walker’s stance on matters that matter to Republican voters were unknown, Fox News reported in July 2021 that some Georgia Republicans weren’t sure how effective a candidate Walker would be.

Walker made a video supporting Trump’s efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election after Biden’s victory was announced. Many theories regarding how the 2020 election will be manipulated have been spread by Walker.

Walker claimed that Biden only received 50 million votes, but the actual number was over 80 million. Walker, who claimed there was “countrywide election fraud” without offering any proof, demanded that Trump and “true patriots” carry out “a total cleansing” to “prosecute all the bad actors.”
