Susan Roces has passed away at the age of 80.
Susan Roces children: Meet her adopted daughter Grace Poe
Grace Poe is the adopted daughter of Susan Roces and Fernando Poe Jr.
After she graduated from High School, she attended the University of the Philippines Manila (UP), where she majored in development studies.
Later she transferred to Boston College. There, she graduated with a degree in political science in 1991. During her time in college, she interned for William Weld’s campaign.
From 2010 to 2012, she was the chairperson of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board. The following year in 2013, she began serving as a senator of the Philippines.
Poe married Teodoro Misael Daniel “Neil” Vera Llamanzares on July 27, 1991. Llamanzares is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Together, they have three children. Their first child, Brian, is a journalist who worked as a reporter for CNN Philippines. Their second child, Hanna was born in 1998, and Nika, their last born followed shortly in 2004.
