Political Communications Strategist and National Democratic Congress (NDC) member Stan Dogbe has accused the government of using the Performance Tracker as a manipulation tool to distort reality.

Within 72 hours of its launch, the Information Ministry admitted and corrected 67 wrong entries on the Performance Tracker platform. The errors were reported by citizens within 48 hours after the platform’s launch.

The Information Ministry, through the PerfTrackergh handle, expressed appreciation to the public for their scrutiny and interest in the platform.

After the successful rollout of the Performance Tracker, the government acknowledged the public’s dedication to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information presented.

In response to the government’s admission of errors, Stan Dogbe stated, “You may have deceived Ghanaians with unrealistic promises in the past, but this time, we are not going to be fooled by these attempts at manipulation and propaganda.”

He described the Bawumia performance tracker as a tool of manipulation and distortion of reality, criticizing it as an attempt to deceive the people of Ghana.

Dogbe likened the situation to George Orwell’s novel 1984, portraying the NPP’s efforts as an attempt to rewrite history and present a fabricated reality.

He emphasized the importance of choosing experience over experiment, advocating for an honest and trustworthy leader like Mahama to build a better Ghana.
