Shaun White is an American snowboarder and skateboarder. He has won 3 Olympic gold medals and holds the world record for most X Games golds. He also has 10 ESPY Awards.
He retired from the game in February 2022.
Shaun White parents: Meet Cathy and Roger
Shaun’s parents are Cathy and Roger White. Cathy worked as a waitress when Shaun and his siblings were younger.
It is said that she was vehemently against Shawn snowboarding because she felt it was too dangerous and that Shaun, who started to Snowboard at the age of 6 was too bad at it.
However, when it came to snowboarding and skiing she preferred snowboarding. Cathy used to run all of Shaun’s business dealings until he consolidated them all under the umbrella name Shaun White Enterprises in 2011.
Roger White grew up as a surfer, he worked with the San Clemente Water Department. Roger has said himself that he wanted Shaun to be a surfer.
He would often take Shaun out to the beach and put him on the boards.
Roger was the one who taught Shaun how to snowboard at the age of 4 and set him up on the path of global domination as a snowboarder.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2017, Shaun said he owed everything he was to his parents who supported him.

Shaun White has two elder siblings a brother and a sister.
Shaun Whites’ older brother is Jessie White. He is the elder son of their parents.
Being the eldest, Jessie was sort of a role model to Shaun as he followed in his footsteps in developing an interest in snowboarding.
Shaun’s other sibling is sister Kari White. Kari is the owner of a successful Dog accessory company Mayor B.
