He also worked in President George H. W. Bush’s administration.
Williams was born in Casper, Wyoming, to a realtor mother and an orthodontist father.
He has had the nickname Pete since he was a child. In 1974, he began his career in local news with the Casper, Wyoming, television station KTWO and its identical radio station, after graduating from Stanford University, where he had first studied engineering but later shifted to journalism.
Pete Williams children: Does Pete Williams have kids?
Multiple reports have it that the former government official and journalist have never been married. There is no record of Pete having children either by birth or adoption or by any of the legal means of having children. This seems unlikely for a renowned and successful 70-year-old. One would have thought that given his age and level on the career ladder, he would have given the marriage institution a thought but that is not the case with Pete.
