The event, which was supposed to feature performances from both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, took a turn when Stonebwoy decided to boycott the event.
According to Sammy Flex, the organizers of the event had initially scheduled Stonebwoy to perform first, followed by Shatta Wale. However, due to Shatta Wale’s inclusion in the lineup, Stonebwoy decided not to perform, despite earlier agreements.
In an interview on Onua FM, Sammy Flex explained that he had received information from the organizers that Stonebwoy would not be performing, which led to Shatta Wale’s frustration on stage.
Shatta Wale went on to make some unfavorable comments about Stonebwoy during his performance, expressing his disappointment in Stonebwoy’s decision to boycott the event.
Sammy Flex defended Shatta Wale’s actions, stating that Shatta Wale was simply reacting based on the information he had received. He also highlighted the fact that Shatta Wale had performed at another event on the same night, showing his commitment to his fans.
