Sammy Flex, the manager of Shatta Wale, has revealed that the artist was added to the lineup for the Abeka Salahfest just one day before the event took place.
In an interview with Nana Kwame Gyan on Onua FM, Flex explained that the communication between Shatta Wale and the event organizers was only finalized the day before the event.
Initially, Shatta Wale was not advertised as part of the performers because the discussions had not been concluded. It was only after the official communication was completed that the organizers included him in the lineup for the event.
However, there was drama at the Abeka Salahfest as Shatta Wale expressed his frustrations on stage after Stonebwoy boycotted the event. Despite waiting for several hours to perform after Stonebwoy’s set, Shatta Wale was left agitated when Stonebwoy decided not to perform.
Sammy Flex clarified the reason for Stonebwoy’s boycott, stating that the organizers had informed them that Stonebwoy would not perform because of Shatta Wale’s inclusion in the concert lineup.
According to Flex, the organizers had initially scheduled Stonebwoy to perform first, followed by Shatta Wale. However, due to Shatta Wale’s inclusion in the event, Stonebwoy decided not to perform as agreed earlier.
The incident caused a delay in Shatta Wale’s performance, with Flex having to inform Shatta Wale around 3 am that Stonebwoy would not be performing as planned.
