He was born on June 11, 1936, in Sofian-Trubaiovca from Romania today known as Odesa Oblast, Ukraine.
It is reported that Poroshenko died on June 16, 2020, at the age of 84 years in Kyiv. He died a few days after celebrating his birthday.
