The LGBT Rights Ghana Twitter account described the news report as ‘shameful, preying on the ignorance and vulnerability of these young Queer boys to stay relevant and reflects poorly on her and her constant effort to paint black and insight hate for the LGBTQ community here in Ghana.’

They later condemned Nana Aba’s work but got blocked by the outspoken broadcaster.

GH One TV pulled down the report from all their online channels but issued no statement to back their decision.

However, Nana Aba Anamoah saw the damage she has caused, and issued an apology on Twitter saying: “I am still learning about matters of sexuality and opening myself up to conversations that have been taboo in our society.”
