American actor Mark Blum appeared in theatre, motion pictures, and television.
He became popular after landing the lead part in the 1985 movie Desperately Seeking Susan. The following year, he earned a supporting role in Crocodile Dundee.
For his performance in the play Gus and Al during its 1988–1989 season, Blum received an Obie Award.

Blum, who was nearing the end of his career, appeared in Mozart in the Jungle on Amazon Prime from 2014 until 2018.
Together with that, he appeared as a guest on numerous shows during the course of his career.
