The 18-year-old youth involved in the purported Kasoa ritual murder case has refuted claims made by the State Prosecutors that he and the 15-year-old juvenile had conspired to seek spiritual abilities to amass a fortune.
The second accused has also denied rumors that he and the first accused had talked about going to the Volta Region for spiritual support if the priest at Amasaman failed them.
Before the High Court in Accra, which is presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, the two adolescents have been charged with conspiracy and murder of 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdallah.
As the 15-year-old juvenile (1st Accused) has acknowledged the crime and claimed to have “committed the crime together,” the younger offender (2nd Accused) has refuted the allegations.
The State Prosecutors, led by Nana Adoma Osei, are currently putting him through cross-examination before the High Court, which is presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, according to EIB Network Legal Affairs Correspondent Murtala Inusah.
