Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is full of praise for Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp, stating that the duo have what it takes to be in the starting lineup for The Eagles.
As Crystal Palace gets ready to take on Newcastle United in the English Premier League on Wednesday night at Selhurst Park, Glasner spoke highly of Ayew and Schlupp’s potential on the pitch.
Despite seeing reduced game time recently due to the emergence of talents like Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise, and the impressive performances by Jean-Philippe Mateta, Glasner believes in the quality that Ayew and Schlupp bring to the team.
“Eze, Mateta, and Olise have been in fantastic form recently, scoring goals and providing assists. But let’s not forget about players like Schlupp, Ayew, and Edouard, who are also very talented and deserve their spot in the starting lineup,” Glasner said.
With competition for spots in the team heating up, Ayew and Schlupp will be looking to make their mark and prove that they are worthy of starting games for Crystal Palace.
