John Cameron Fogerty is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from the United States. Fogerty has always been a liberal Democrat. Many Republicans, including Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, have been lampooned in Fogerty’s lyrics. Fogerty took part in the Vote for Change tour in support of John Kerry’s presidential campaign against George W. Bush in 2004.

Gayland Robert Fogerty
Galen Robert Fogerty was born in 1911. Fogerty was the son of James Fogerty and Lillie Royer. Fogerty married Edith Lucile Lytle in 1932. Bob attended UC Berkeley from 1937 to 1941 and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Fogerty was a typographer for the Berkeley Gazette and the Oakland Tribune. Fogerty and his wife Lucille had five sons: James Robert (1939), Thomas Richard (1941-1990), John Cameron (1945), Daniel Andrew (1948-2001), and Robert G. (1949).
Lucile Fogerty
Lucille and her first husband, Galen Robert “Bob” Fogerty, had five sons. The family lived in Berkeley before moving to El Cerrito, California. Creedence Clearwater Revival was formed by Tom and John Fogerty’s sons (1968-1972). Charles C. Loosi was Lucille’s second husband (1902-1984). The couple tied the knot on June 11, 1977.
