The majority of Remar’s cinematic career has been spent portraying antagonists in various films. In the cult classic film The Warriors (1979), he played the role of Ajax, a vicious gang member, and in the critically acclaimed film 48 Hrs, he played the role of Albert Ganz, a homicidal psychopath (1982). Walter Hill was the director of both of these movies.
