Surf Curse is an American rock band that originally started in Reno, Nevada in 2013.

They describe their genre of music as; surf rock, lo-fi, surf punk, indie rock, indie pop, and jangle pop.

They perform as a band but write as a duo with Nick Rattigan as lead vocals and drums and Jacob Rubeck on the guitars.

The band became popular on TikTok in May 2021 after their song, Freaks reached 64 on the UK Singles Chart.
