The city of Lincoln Park proclaimed November 17, 2017, “Bob Seger Day”[9]. Seger was referred to as the city’s spokesperson for their generation by mayor Thomas Karnes. When he was younger, Seger attended school there and gave performances at the city’s bandshell.

Blues-rock, folk, garage rock, hard rock, heartland rock, heavy rock, psychedelic rock, rock & roll, and soul are all elements of Bob Seger’s musical aesthetic.

Yes, On November 21 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will start their Travelin’ Man Tour. Seger is from Michigan. On the 73-year itinerary, old’s there are now additional stops in Buffalo, Cleveland, Louisville, Fort Wayne, and Peoria (Illinois), in addition to rescheduled performances in Dallas and Houston in Texas.

More Travelin’ Man Tour dates will be announced in the future for locations like Las Vegas, Fresno, San Diego, Vancouver, Florida, and others.

The forthcoming U.S. tour by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet will be their final one. The band already had several concerts scheduled to make up for the performances they had to cancel due to Seger’s back surgery last year, but they have now added a few more and announced that this will be their final performance.

The tour was formerly known as the Runaway Train tour, but has now been renamed the Travelin’ Man tour in honor of his farewell song from 1975, “Travelin’ Man.”
