Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, has come out to strongly deny allegations that she received a scholarship from the Government of Ghana during her academic pursuits. The claims, reportedly propagated by some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on social media and other platforms, have been described as baseless and aimed at tarnishing her reputation and that of her family.
Madam Mogtari has refuted these claims, stating that she has never benefited from a government scholarship and that the allegations are merely an attempt to incite public disdain towards her. In response to the misinformation campaign targeting her, she took to social media to urge the public to disregard the unfounded claims and reaffirm her stance that she has never received a scholarship from the Government of Ghana.
Furthermore, she clarified that she has never been enrolled as a student at Portsmouth University, dismissing another aspect of the false information being spread about her. She emphasized that the dissemination of such false information is a deliberate attempt to undermine her credibility and integrity.
“Disregard the propaganda and falsehood being peddled by the dishonest NPP apparatchiki that I benefited from a Government of Ghana Scholarship. And for the avoidance of doubt, I have never been a student of the Portsmouth University,” she stated firmly.
It is clear that Joyce Bawah Mogtari is standing her ground against these unfounded allegations and is determined to set the record straight about her academic background and scholarship history.
