Mr Beautiful, a popular Ghanaian actor and comedian, recently voiced his strong criticism of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In his opinion, their actions have not only failed to deliver on their promises but have also brought embarrassment to their supporters.
During an interview on Onua FM, Mr Beautiful expressed his dismay by suggesting that if he were in the shoes of actors like Kalybos or Agya Koo who staunchly supported the NPP, he would feel too ashamed to show his face in public. He raised concerns about the lack of progress and support for those who campaigned for the NPP.
Despite facing backlash for openly supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Beautiful stands by his decision and believes it was the right choice. He commended individuals, particularly in the Ashanti Region, who have switched their allegiance from the NPP to the NDC, citing the current state of the Ghanaian economy as a driving factor.
Mr Beautiful also highlighted the achievements made by the NDC during their tenure, such as building new infrastructure like airports, harbours, schools, and hospitals.
He contrasted this with what he perceived as a lack of tangible progress under the NPP’s leadership.
