Six years after the terrible loss of his daughter Ebony Reigns, Starboy Kwarteng, the late Ghanaian singer’s father, has revealed that he still bathes with her sponge.
“Everything she owns is with me. In an interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall, Starboy Kwarteng said, “I even have her sponge, and that is what I use to bathe.”
Starboy Kwarteng revealed that, after Ebony’s death, he had preserved all of her possessions, including her clothes and personal accessories.
He made it clear that he doesn’t feel the need to give up her belongings because they are sentimental and provide a link to her past.
In response to any possible worries regarding the alleged spiritual ramifications of utilizing her possessions, he declared emphatically, “It is not haunted. Why should my fear be justified?
According to Starboy Kwarteng, he can sense Ebony’s presence and find peace and serenity in his everyday life by utilizing her sponge.
He explained that this technique is a personal coping mechanism to preserve her memory, not based in superstition.
Starboy Kwarteng clarified, “It is not spiritual or anything. When I use it, I feel her presence around me, and it is better that I do that,” This cleared up any misunderstanding regarding his behaviour.
