Well according to Billboard, Bruce Springsteen’s publishing portfolio has been sold to Sony for 500 million dollars.
Per Billboard sources, the legendary musician sold his masters to Sony Music and his publishing rights to Sony Music Publishing in a joint agreement.
However, a representative for Sony declined to comment on the deal.
Springsteen has remained with Columbia Records since he began his epic career, and was given ownership of all his earlier albums.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, his album catalog has made 65.5 million in the U.S and that includes his 15-times platinum “Born in the U.S.A” and five-times platinum “The River”.

This move means that he won’t have to work a day in his life if he decides to spend the 500 million dollars in bits.
This is also the biggest catalog deal to date.
