Rebecca Catherine Marino is a Canadian professional tennis player. On 11 July 2011, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 38. Marino was awarded Female Player of the Year by Tennis Canada twice in 2010 and 2011. She decided in late February 2013 to take an indefinite break from tennis.
During her break, she studied English literature at the University of British Columbia and was part of the rowing team. She was also a certified Club Pro 1 coach at the UBC Tennis Centre. In October 2017, Marino announced her intention to return to the pro circuit, and her comeback was delayed due to ITF administrative regulations.
