Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo was born Adetokunbo on December 6, 1994. He is a Greek-Nigerian professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association.

Antetokounmpo’s nationality has given him the nickname “Greek Freak,” along with his stature, strength, quickness, and ball-handling skills.

Antetokounmpo was born and raised in Athens by Nigerian parents, where he initially played basketball for the young teams of Filathlitikos.

He began competing for the club’s senior team in 2011 before being selected by the Bucks as the 15th overall choice in the 2013 NBA Draft.

He became the first player in NBA history to finish a regular season in the top 20 in all five statistics, including total points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
