Hardy Krüger was a German actor who died at the age of 93 on January 19, 2022.
According to RND, he played a prominent part in around 75 films and was one of the few German actors to have a worldwide career.
Krüger during his prime starred in A Bridge Too Far, Hatari!, The Flight of the Phoenix, and Wild Geese.
Well in the French drama films Sundays and Cybèle, he portrayed a fearsome Vietnam veteran.
In 1962, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. It also won a Blue Ribbon Award that year and was nominated for a Golden Globe.
