Google has used its search engine to commemorate the death of the 96-year-old Monarch.

Instead of the site’s usual rainbow visual, visitors to the search engine’s homepage will be greeted by a greyscale logo. A black ribbon is shown beneath the search bar as a mark of great loss, mourning, and remembrance.

Users are instead sent to a search page for Queen Elizabeth II after clicking the grey logo, which offers a summary of recent news articles about the monarch as well as the most popular search terms and a brief biography.

The 96-year-old departed peacefully in Scotland’s Balmoral Castle, capping an unprecedented 70-year reign.

King Charles III, Prince William, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Harry were all seen finding their way to their mother’s bedside on Thursday. Tributes have poured in from all over the world since her passing. In the hours following the news’s release, mourners flooded Buckingham Palace.
