An aspiring artist from Ghana, Mubarikatu Issaka, is preparing for an extraordinary challenge as she attempts to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest paint-a-thon.

Located in Akwatia, Eastern Region, this project aims to showcase the power of art for inspiration and education.

Scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2024, Issaka’s paint-a-thon seeks to surpass the current record of 100 hours held by Nigerian artist Chancellor Ahaghotu. The new target is an impressive 168 hours, requiring immense dedication and skill.

This initiative follows in the footsteps of Sharon Dede Padiki, another talented Ghanaian artist who recently made headlines with her seven-day painting marathon.

It is evident that Ghana’s art scene is vibrant, innovative, and consistently pushing boundaries. Stay tuned for updates on Issaka’s epic journey towards redefining artistic achievement!
