Gaige Grosskreutz, the man who survived gunshots during Kenosha shooting incident, has granted his first interview since testifying in the Rittenhouse trial.

Gaige, a 27-year-old paramedic, was shot in the arm by Rittenhouse last summer during riots that broke out in Kenosha over racial injustice. Rittenhouse killed Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26.

Speaking about the trial on Wednesday, November 10, he described Rittenhouse as someone who is upset that he was caught for committing a crime.

He told ‘Good Morning America’ that Rittenhouse behaved like a teenager upset about being caught in the act.

“To me, it seemed like a child,” he said, “who just gotten caught doing something that he wasn’t supposed to — more upset that he was caught and less upset about what he had done and what he had taken and the numerous lives that he affected through his actions that night.”

Kyle Rittenhouse, now 18, wailed uncontrollably on the stand while he described the moments leading up to the killing of two people and putting Gaige’s life at risk.

He now faces six charges, including intentional homicide and attempted homicide. If convicted of the top charge, he could face a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
