Dustin Patrick Runnels is a professional wrestler from the United States. He is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he wrestles as Dustin Rhodes. He is best known for his multiple WWE tenures as Goldust from 1995 to 2019. He is a second generation wrestler, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes and Cody Rhodes’ half-brother. He has also appeared in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNAW) (TNA).
Under the guise of Dusty Rhodes Jr., Runnels toured Japan for All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in its annual Champion Carnival in March 1989. In the spring and summer of 1990, he returned to AJPW for ten and twenty-day tours. In July 1989, Runnels began wrestling in the United States Wrestling Association (USWA). He mainly feuded with Tony Anthony for Anthony’s CWA Heavyweight Championship, but he never won it. In the spring of 1990, he left the USWA.
