Spector’s last Top 40 hit was in 1964 with the Ronettes’ song “Walking in the Rain,” thus it had been more than two decades since he had appeared on the charts.

Did Ronnie Spector sing with Eddie Money?

Eddie Money’s 1986 smash “Take Me Home Tonight” granted the late Ronnie Spector a ticket back to music heaven even if his career was not precisely at its peak.

Spector returned to active duty thanks to “Take Me Home Tonight.” At the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York, she debuted her recurring Ronnie Spector’s Christmas Party and worked with the Misfits and the Raveonettes.

She recorded two further EPs and three full-length solo albums in addition to authoring a memoir, Be My Baby: How I Survived Mascara, Miniskirts, and Madness, in 1990. Joey Ramone produced Spector’s 1999 EP She Talks to Rainbows.
