Did Rita Moreno have a child for Marlon Brando?

From 1954 to 1962, Moreno and Marlon Brando had a sporadic relationship. She revealed in her account that Brando caused her to become pregnant and that he set up an abortion.

She had to be rushed to the hospital to have the fetus surgically removed after returning home and bleeding out while it was dying inside her.

Brando and his co-star from Mutiny on the Bounty fell in love shortly after, but instead of seeing her again, Moreno attempted suicide by taking too many of Brando’s sleeping pills.
