Stephen Pambiin Jalulah, Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, has promised to make the roads in Afram Plains better so they may be driven on, starting from Ekye Amanfrom and ending at Donkorkrom.
He promised that the issue will be resolved quickly for the safety of drivers and acknowledged the pressing need to address it.
At the assembly members’ inauguration, the minister was speaking to Adom News in Tease, Kwawu Afram Plains South District.
In order to encourage growth in the area, he urged the assembly members to work with the member of parliament and the district chief executive (DCE).
“Today, I have been to Donkorkrom, and I have understood that the road is very bad, so I will speak with my boss, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Attah, and my engineers. We will look for ways to make the roads a bit better. If we cannot put in coal tar, we will find a way to make the road mutable, so that the inconveniences to drivers and motorists cease,” he said.
When competing for office, Mr. Jalulah emphasized the value of selflessness and the dedication needed to serve one’s community and nation.
Observing that certain members have held office for four terms, he urged them to keep supporting government policies to the fullest extent possible.
