Rev. Eastwood Anaba of Fountain Gate Chapel has come out to issue a stern warning to Christians about the dangers of prioritizing social media over Bible study.

In a recent sermon, he pointed out that many Christians are spending more time on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram than they are spending in the Word of God.

He emphasized that the content on social media can be distracting and lead believers away from focusing on their spiritual growth. According to Rev. Anaba, the consumption of trending topics and ungodly content on social media is taking Christians further away from God.

During his sermon, which was shared on his X account, Rev. Eastwood Anaba challenged his congregation to reflect on how much time they are dedicating to reading the Bible compared to scrolling through their social media feeds. He urged them to prioritize their spiritual well-being and invest more time in studying the Word of God.

Furthermore, Rev. Anaba called for a time of repentance and revival within the church. He reminded his congregation that judgment is coming and that it is essential for Christians to prepare themselves for eternity. He emphasized the importance of getting their lives in order and not getting too comfortable or distracted by the temporary pleasures of this world.

Rev. Eastwood Anaba’s message serves as a timely reminder for all believers to reevaluate their priorities and ensure that they are putting God first in their lives. It is a call to action for Christians to steer clear of the distractions of social media and focus on deepening their relationship with God through sincere study and meditation on His Word.
