Christopher James Kreider (born April 30, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey winger and alternate captain for the National Hockey League’s New York Rangers (NHL).
Kreider, who was born in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood, previously played NCAA ice hockey at Boston College.
He was picked 19th overall in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Rangers and is the team’s longest-serving player.
