Accidents can happen at any time and in any place, even during routine activities like cutting trees.
Unfortunately, a 48-year-old Chainsaw Operator lost his life recently while working in the bush with his young son. The incident occurred in Twifu Mintaso, a community in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.
Emmanuel Narh, a 48-year-old Chainsaw Operator, died suddenly on May 2, 2023, after a tree he was cutting fell and killed him instantly.
Per reliable sources, this worrying incident occurred in Twifu Mintaso, a community located in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region, where the deceased was working accompanied by his six-year-old son.
According to reliable sources (Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan), his six-year-old son actually ran to the family’s home to report the incident after the tree hit his father.
Family members and neighbors who arrived at the scene soon after the incident tried to save the man, but the cold arms of death had already gripped Emmanuel Narh to death on the spot.
At the moment the body has been taken to the Twifu Praso Government Hospital Mortuary, and the police have been informed about the case.
Interestingly the community members, on the other hand, claim that the deceased violated the gods of the land by working on a Tuesday, which is regarded as an abomination in the said community.
As such they believe strongly the gods punished him for his disobedience. The loss of a loved one is always difficult, and our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
However, it is also important to remember the community’s beliefs regarding disobeying the gods of the land and the consequences of such actions. This tragedy is a reminder to always be cautious and respectful of cultural norms and traditions, even when performing seemingly mundane tasks.
